No matter how long they'd worked together, Lois still didn't get Clark Kent. He had numerous awards and two Pulitzers – none of which she was bitter about – and he'd had an A-1 byline for ten years straight. But what had him puffed up and strutting around the bullpen? A tacky, hand-pressed button, sporting a rabbit-eared and cross-eyed picture of his children, with "#1 Dad" in stickers along the top.

Parenthood obviously resulted in loss of brain cells and fashion sense. None of which she was bitter about, either.

    That is a perfect picture of Lois and Clark's relationship.

    This is just a lovely little drabble. Of course there's nothing Clark is more proud of than his children. It's just a shame that Lois can't see why that is.

    Ditto to what [info]digitalwave said. FFL is definitely a comfort. Lois... ah Lois... gotta love her like this. Just makes me shake my head and feel sorry for her.

    I know you are stepping away from SV... but does that include this series as well?

      I hope my FFL muse sticks around. It may, because there's no actual ficcing to it, it's just whatever comes into my head.

      As for PoT fic, I'm almost done with an InuKai one.

      I'm afraid it may be true. My SV muse is packed up for the beach already, to veg-out with the Buffy muse. I can tell it's going because I don't have much desire to even read SV fic at the moment. Oh well. Le sigh.

      I think the FFLs may stay, if I'm lucky, as I don't have to write actual stories, just drabbles of what comes to mind.
