Hey, it's me

It appears that my FFL muse has decided to abandon ship. I'd hoped this wouldn't happen, but it seems that it has. If she decides to return, I'll always post on LJ. I'll also keep a "last updated" note on the timeline. Otherwise, looks like my SV days are officially over. If you feel like defriending because of that, it doesn't bother me. I'll probably be writing in various anime fandoms for the next little while.

Dedicated to my co-workers, who talked about how they were going to write books and the writing process, and yet completely forgetting about the fact that I actually do it.

A little more Lionel/FFLverse info: FFL canon departs from s1:Stray, with Lionel getting what he wanted; that is, Lex returning to the fold after being in the real world for a few months learning the family business. Lex was a complete brat from the time his mother died until Smallville and Lionel's brand of emotional/verbal abuse takes on a different light when you have that information. It doesn't mean it's good, but Lex wasn't a Misbegotten Woobie, either. In FFL, they have a relatively normal father/son relationship: somewhat acrimonious but still with caring.

I was fixing up the FFL Timeline and doing a few beta edits on the ficlets, when I got to this one. I reread and laughed so hard I was misty-eyed. Sometimes, I amuse me.
